The ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023 is set to take place in Zimbabwe from June 18th to July 9th, 2023. The 10 participating teams are divided into two groups. Group A consists of hosts Zimbabwe, the West Indies, the Netherlands, Nepal, and the United States. After the group stage, the top three teams from each group will progress to the Super Six stage. In the Super Six, they will face the teams they didn't play in the group stage. Matches will be held at four venues: Queen's Sports Club and Bulawayo Athletic Club in Bulawayo, Harare Sports Club, and Takash inga Cricket Club in Harare. A total of 34 matches will be played, with the final taking place at Harare Sports Club on July 9th. Warm-up fixtures will also be hosted at Old Harridans Cricket Club.
The tournament kicks off with the host nation, Zimbabwe, facing Nepal at Harare Sports Club. Meanwhile, two-time Men's Cricket World Cup champions, the West Indies, will take on the United States at Takashinga Cricket Club on the opening matchday.
The tournament introduces the use of the Decision Review System (DRS) from the Super Six stage onwards, marking the first time it will be implemented in this tournament.
